It's that time of year again and the holidays are upon us. As our team celebrates the Thanksgiving holiday the AIRS | EHM | City Steps administrative team are taking November 26th - 27th off and will return to work on Monday, November 30th.

Last week we announced the AIRS | EHM | City Steps position and response regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. We could not have imagined the impact (both direct and collateral) of the outbreak but we have maintained our commitment to providing supportive housing services to our clients.

AvalonBay continues to a supportive partner of AIRS | EHM | City Steps. With their generous donation of 15 monitors and 3 sets of wireless keyboards, we're able to provide technology resources to some of the most vulnerable populations in Baltimore City and County.

Today is the day we were incorporated way back in 1989. We've been celebrating our 30 years of service for the past 12 months and the celebration concludes on February 22, 2020.

Shakira Saunders joined the EHM team as a Housing Specialist, Paegan Kessler is our newest Case Manager on the AIRS team and volunteer turned employee LaShawn Washington is our new Accounts Payable Clerk.

In September we welcomed Lacey Adams as our new Director of Finance and Alexandra Glover assumed the role of Director of Youth Housing Services in our City Steps division.
Representatives from AIRS | EHM | City Steps were on hand to celebrate the ribbon cutting of the new facility for REACH! Partnership High School in Baltimore.
Congratulations to Dr. Gresham and the team of state and local agencies who brought this wonderful building to fruition.
At AIRS | EHM | City Steps our fiscal year begins on July 1st and represents our organizational "re-set." Grant periods begin, new operating budgets take effect for our programs and projects, and most of our operating cycles start over with a clean slate.
The 2019 HAND Annual Meeting and Award Luncheon was in June and Restoration Gardens 2 received the award for Best Small Affordable Housing Project . Our entire development team ( French Development , Southway Builders and Quinn Evans Architects ) is thrilled to have received this recognition.
