Our amazing staff, community partners, board of directors and team of volunteers are committed to helping others. We take our convictions and turn them into action providing case management and housing services to the most vulnerable citizens in our state. We are proud to empower individuals and help change and positively impact their lives.
In 1987, AIRS was founded by the Central Maryland Ecumenical Council as the faith community's response to the AIDS epidemic. Through strategic planning and community support, AIRS has expanded its program to provide supportive housing to the most vulnerable populations throughout Baltimore City and Baltimore County.
The key to a healthier, better life begins with a safe, stable place to call home and the skills and resources all people need to support themselves, financially, emotionally, health and well-being. That foundation is what we strive to provide and, to help individuals become active, contributing, self-sufficient members of the larger community.
Due to the increasing spread of the Omicron variant of COVID-19 our administrative offices are closed. All of our administrative and case management services are now virtual. Additionally, all of our AIRS | EHM managed offices and buildings are closed to the public.
