Our amazing staff, community partners, board of directors and team of volunteers are committed to helping others. We take our convictions and turn them into action providing case management and housing services to the most vulnerable citizens in our state. We are proud to empower individuals and help change and positively impact their lives.
In 1987, AIRS was founded by the Central Maryland Ecumenical Council as the faith community's response to the AIDS epidemic. Through strategic planning and community support, AIRS has expanded its program to provide supportive housing to the most vulnerable populations throughout Baltimore City and Baltimore County.
The key to a healthier, better life begins with a safe, stable place to call home and the skills and resources all people need to support themselves, financially, emotionally, health and well-being. That foundation is what we strive to provide and, to help individuals become active, contributing, self-sufficient members of the larger community.
AIRS | EHM | City Steps is committed to keeping our community informed and safe. Following the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), we have a full list of information and resources as it relates to health protection from coronavirus (COVID-19) in Maryland.
